Here are some reviews left by users of the hotel:

The hotels elegant look suggests that much attention was paid to the details of its exterior and interior structures to make this hotel a Wow! place for visitors to historic Vigan. Great location easy access by walking or calesa to the various sites.

The rate was higher compared to the nearby hotels but you get the value of what you paid for. The rooms are well-maintained. The bathroom was clean and approved! It has the complete amenities to it.

My family was in for a surprise when we arrived at Hotel Veneto. It was one of the cheapest place to stay but the family room was more than what we expected! The staff was friendly and accommodating and were very helpful with our queries. The hotel is only walking distance from Calle Crisologo. Breakfast selection was limited, but it was more than we bargained for.

What you should be on the lookout for:

Wifi is bad. The staff could be noisy in the morning as noted by one reviewer on TripAdvisor. Rooms dont have refrigerator. Some reviewers also noted that the breakfast buffet tends to be oily, although the cost of food at the restaurant was reasonable.

Overall, Hotel Veneto de Vigan is one of the newer hotels in Vigan, and you can enjoy lots of amenities and comfort when you decide to stay there.

Here are some reviews left by users of the hotel:

the property was charming, well-decorated with period pieces..the staff was helpful enough. really enjoyed renting and riding the bikes they offered to gueststhe free breakfast was not great but was goodfilipino and american..with vigan longganiza.

The hotel is beautiful, in a colonial style with paintings and old furniture everywhere. The breakfast was average. Wifi was fast. It felt so different when i visited Vigan, than to another places, it was like going back to a century ago, and this hotel makes it completed.
Its very clean old hotel.

Large windows with heavy wooden shutters you can open and watch the day go by as you sit on the thick adobe ledges, four post bed with canopy and authentic mosquito nets, and antique style furniture and fittings adorning the room all add to the charm of Hotel Felicidad. Located just behind the start or end, depending which way youre coming from, of Calle Crisologo, this hotel offers comfort embraced in old-Hispanic opulence for the insulares, without breaking the bank account. It has a lot of nook and crannies to explore, like the upstairs azotea and the balconies for late afternoon coffee, aperitif, or after dinner brandy and cigars.

What you should be on the lookout for:

The rooms could feel cramped and small. There are no elevators, but the hotel has only three floors, so that shouldnt be too much of a problem.

Overall, Hotel Felicidad has a rustic feel that you can enjoy if you want to visit the city.

Here are some reviews left by the users of this hotel:

Each employee of the hotel was very helpful and courteous. There greeting every morning was one of the high points of our trip
The pool, although small, was very refreshing. Specially if you spent the whole day riding a calesa or walking through calle Crisologo
The internet connection is per room so you do not run the hassle of sharing centralized internet connection
The semi-museum was a refreshing surprise. I especially liked the reproduction of the painting Spolarium

There are a lot of paintings here in Hotel Luna so if you are a person that likes to take a picture this spot must be good for you. They have a great room and I actually like their bathroom. Fast room service. Nice pool and bar.

The hotel is beautiful, in a colonial style with paintings and old furniture everywhere. Our standard room was less than 3000p without breakfast (low season), its quite small, but comfy. The bathroom was equipped with an electronic toilet/bidet, which was a great new experience for me. The staff are very polite and helpful.

What you should be on the lookout for:

The rooms could feel small and cramped. Since the hotel is right in the middle of Vigan, parking could be a pain. Although the hotel has an elevator, a lot of users reported that it wasnt working half the time.

Overall, Hotel Luna is a great place to stay if you want to experience the rustic feel of Vigan. This hotel boasts itself as the only Museum-Hotel in the Philippines, so that could certainly be a source of pride for the management, and hopefully, for the guests who decide to stay within its walls.

One Vittoria Hotel

This hotel is not exactly within the Vigan City area, but along the highway in nearby Bantay town. But it is one of the top rated hotels, so we decided to include it in our list. It also received a lot of positive reviews and would be worth checking out.

Inside the hotel, youd completely forget that youre in Ilocos Sur. All the furnitures from the reception area up to the furnitures inside the rooms are nothing but the best. The comforters and pillows are super soft and the beds are equally comforting and spacious too. The toilets equipped with bidet so dont look for tabo. :)) And taking a shower is so refreshing for its like dancing in the rain, with the downpour adjustable to your liking. And the most exciting way to get energized for another day of Ilocos exploration, is to dig in at the hotels Breakfast Buffet.

Thats one of the things I loved about this hotel, the service! Every single person on their staff were very friendly, accommodating, and courteous. I loved their free shuttle ride to the plaza. Its about a 6-8minute drive depending on traffic. Special mention to Kuya Cocoy who was an excellent driver! He was very friendly, very prompt, and was very easy to talk to. I loved the fact also that the hotel is right beside Marshas Delicacies which is a one stop pasalubong shopping stop!

My budget for hotels in the provinces in the Philippines ranges between $40 to $60. One Vittoria was a bit pricey compared to that standard, at $90, but you get what you pay for.

In my opinion, it is a solid business/boutique hotel that can compete with similar hotels in Metro Manila. The hotel lobby looks modern with furniture designed by known designer Kenneth Cobonpue. The rooms design is consistent with the rest of the hotel. It is spacious with tiled or marbled floors (I cant rememberdefinitely not rugged though). The TV with its selection of channels is relatively complete and up to date. Wifi is free. Not fast, but at least you get connected. The highlight of our stay was the bed. Very comfortable. We almost missed breakfast.

What you should be on the lookout for:

One particular hotel reviewer mentioned that ants was a problem in her room. It is also not in the city proper, so if you need some things, you may need to pay for extra at the convenience store of the hotel, or travel to the city.

Overall, this is a great hotel situated along the highway. A bit more expensive than the other hotels, but worth it.

Hotel Salcedo de Vigan

Here are some reviews left by the users of this hotel:

The hotel is clean, well-maintained, staff were friendly. The room was clean and spacious, squeaky clean restroom and a lot of storage space. All the basic amenities are provided including wi-fi. Cold room aircondition with tv, dresser, hot and cold water. Our stay was very comfortable! Truly a great experience!!

The room was large, the bed was comfortable. The t.v. was good. The bathroom was nice and modern. There is no security box in the room as is the case in most of the Vigan hotels; but they do have one at the front desk which I used. Just be sure that the person who has access to it is around when you want to get to your valuables.

The hotel, externally, is quite appealing because it gives you that feeling as if you were present during that period in the Philippines. Regarding the interior, it was great because of the modern touch in the design, too bad I dont have the pictures.

The staff are really helpful to us and they are jolly and always smiling :) Thats really a good gesture since it was really hot outside and they somehow relieve us from the heat we have gathered outside.

What you should be on the lookout for:

Some users noted that cleaning is not as prompt or as thorough as it should be. The rooms are a bit old. Some rooms also felt like a dormitory.

Reviews. Here are some reviews left by those whove stayed at Ciudad Fernandina Hotel

The staff is efficient and accommodating. Rooms are neat, nice and cozy. Hotel ambiance blends with the old world theme yet very modern and comfortable for the guests. Location is very good as well, it is near Crisologo St where you can stroll and take photos at night. I recommend staying here when you are visiting Vigan.

Our stay in Vigan was made more memorable because of our hotel which has old world decor but new world comforts like plush beddings, AC, wifi and fantastic breakfast! We didnt have a chance to try their other meals but we can say that breakfast was always heart-warming and stomach-filling. Real value for moeny! The location of the hotel, which is within the Kamestisuhan district, is convenient and made exploring the Vigan attractions a breeze.

We tried walking in and found this place. to be honest, it looks rather fancy and luxurious but the front desk lady was terrible, she was playing with her mobile phone WHILE talking to us. she wasnt able to give us any good rates since were walk-ins

What you should be on the lookout for:

Rooms are not very large. A reviewer once remarked that the rooms are about 7 X 10 square foot. The service also tends to be inconsistent as there were several bad reviews related to the service.

Here are some feedback provided by people who stayed at the hotel

Great place. Looks like old spanish mansion. Very grand inside. Allowed us to leave bags locked at reception after checkout so we could roam.

Big rooms and comfy beds. Price was about 2000php and included set bfast basically you chose a few dished from a menu like bacon eggs toast. What bread, style of eggs. Coffee, juice and fruit.

* Great location! Very central. Theres the Vigan-ized McDonalds across the street and Calle Crisologo is right there when you step outside as well
* Its a small hotel and designed like the historical Vigan houses
* The rooms are basic but clean

The location is great! however, not a customer-oriented hotel.the front desk clerk was not attentive when we were inquiring on room availability. the room given to us was not cleaned properly: empty soap boxes and shampoo sachets were not removed on the window sill; the bathroom tiles had molds. thankfully we only stayed here for a night as some of us had been scratching till morning. we had bites all over our body from bed mites. I told the front desk clerk about it. no reaction at all.

Room Tip: get the assurance that the bed and the beddings are free of bed mites so you may be compensated late

What you should be on the lookout for:

As with other hotels above, the level of service varies. That may be something that service workers in the provinces (outside of Metro Manila) need to keep in mind.

Overall: Vigan Plaza Hotel is a nice place to stay at, price and location-wise.
