In Ilocos Norte, iconic tales of the province’s origin are relived through the celebration of “Himala sa Buhangin.”
The Himala sa Buhangin is an annual music and arts festival in the Paoay Sand Dunes, initiated by the provincial government as part of its La Milagrosa Provincial Fiesta. It is known for its grand tribute to classic films such as “Ang Panday (1980).” “Himala (1981),” and “Temptation Island (1980, 2011).” Historic statutes are built in honor of the films that were shot in the renowned Paoay Sand Dunes.Continue reading »
